First public version of the privacy policy, terms of service and data processing agreement for Conforma: EU Guarantee Label.

Sub-processors at launch: Shopify International Ltd (Ireland) as the platform and billing provider; Hostinger International Ltd (Cyprus) for application hosting, on a server in Boston, Massachusetts, United States; netcup GmbH (Germany) for database hosting, on a server in Manassas, Virginia, United States; GitHub, Inc. for this website only.

Both application and database servers are therefore located in the United States. Transfers rely on the Standard Contractual Clauses in those providers’ data processing terms. A move to an EU hosting region is under consideration and would be announced here before it happens.

The website itself sets no cookies, runs no analytics and makes no third-party requests: the typeface is self-hosted rather than loaded from a font CDN.
