Matched by barcode and SKU
Capyo reads the public pages of the rival shops you add, matches their products to yours by barcode and SKU, and alerts you when one undercuts you. Uncertain matches wait in a confirm queue, so a wrong match never changes a price.
Every rival price that matters
Matched by barcode and SKU, not guesswork
A margin floor and an undo
Add the rival shops you watch. Capyo fetches their public product pages, reads the price and availability, and shows them next to yours — with the match status on every product, so you always know what is confirmed and what still needs a human.
What you get
Add the rival shops you watch. Capyo fetches their public product pages, reads the price and availability, and shows them next to yours — with the match status on every product, so you always know what is confirmed and what still needs a human.
Equal barcodes confirm automatically; equal SKUs confirm next. Only when neither exists does Capyo propose candidate products with a confidence score. Everything uncertain waits in the confirm queue — and a pending match can never alert or change a price.
Every rule carries a margin floor built from each variant's unit cost, and no automatic change can cross it. Approve each change yourself or let a paid plan apply it automatically. Every change is logged; undo restores the previous price while no later change exists.
The rules
You approve or set the rules; you own your prices. Capyo shows the old price, the new price, the rival it came from and the floor in force.
A shared barcode or GTIN is the strongest signal, so it confirms a match on its own. An exact SKU comes next. Everything else is proposed as a candidate with a confidence score and needs your confirmation before it can do anything.
The floor is computed from the variant's unit cost and the minimum margin you set. A rule without a computable floor cannot auto-apply; the app lists those products as suggestion-only.
Each applied price stores the old price, the new price and its source. Undo restores the previous price within 30 days, while no later change to that variant exists.
Why Capyo
Capyo reads public product data through a structured-first path — Shopify product JSON, the WooCommerce Store API, then JSON-LD — with robots.txt respected, an identifying user agent and a per-domain rate limit. A shop that blocks it is reported, never forced.
Install free on Shopify →Free covers 3 products and 1 rival shop. $50, $100 and $200 cover 500, 2,500 and 10,000 products, variants counted, with 10, 25 and 50 rival shops. No per-product fees, no overage charges.
Install free on Shopify →Listing and app copy in English, German, French, Spanish, Italian and Dutch, with support in German, French and Spanish during EU hours.
Install free on Shopify →How it works
Enter a domain; Capyo detects the platform and counts the products it can see there. Your plan sets how many shops you track.
Capyo reads your products and variants — price, compare-at price, SKU, barcode and unit cost — and keeps them current through Shopify webhooks and a daily sync.
Barcode and SKU matches confirm themselves. Everything else lands in the confirm queue with candidate products, so you confirm or reject before anything can act.
Choose match the lowest rival or beat it by a percentage, lower-only or both directions, a minimum margin, and approve-first or automatic.
Inside your admin
There is no theme extension, no widget and no web pixel. The only thing Capyo writes to Shopify is a variant price when your own rule says so.
Capyo asks for read_products, write_products and read_inventory. No read_orders, no read_customers, no protected customer data.
Automatic repricing is available on paid plans and only when the rule's floor is computable. Every change is logged and can be undone while no later change exists.
Shopify's compliance webhooks are implemented: after uninstall, the app's rows for your shop are deleted within 48 hours. A reinstall in that window cancels the deletion.
The numbers
Plans differ by how many products and rival shops you track and whether automatic repricing is on. Variants count toward the product limit; there are no per-product fees and no overage charges.

FAQ
Every tracked product is checked once a day. Products you mark as priority are checked every 6 hours. Six hours is the fastest cadence Capyo promises.
It waits in the confirm queue with up to five candidate products and their confidence scores. You confirm, reject, or paste a rival product URL yourself. A pending match can never alert or change a price.
Only if you set an automatic rule on a paid plan, and only when the rule's margin floor is computable from the variant's unit cost. Approve-first is the default, and every change can be undone while no later change exists.
No. Every rule has a minimum margin floor computed from unit cost, and no automatic or approved change may cross it. Only a manual override with an explicit confirmation can go below the floor, and it is logged as a manual change.
Free covers 3 products and 1 rival shop. $50/month covers 500 products and 10 rivals, $100/month 2,500 and 25, and $200/month 10,000 and 50. Variants are included; there are no per-product or overage fees.
Public Shopify stores, WooCommerce stores and other shops whose product pages expose structured data. Capyo reads public pages only, respects robots.txt and identifies itself; a shop that blocks it is reported, never forced.
No. The scopes are read_products, write_products and read_inventory. Capyo stores no customer names, emails, addresses or order data, and requests no protected customer data.
Yes. You approve or set the rules; you own your prices. Capyo does not give legal advice, and you remain responsible for the pricing and competition rules that apply to your store.
